I received an interesting news item. This was based on a major investigation that Graham & Brown – a wallpaper brand from England – had carried out. It was exactly about what I love to keep talking about: what colour does to you! And that colour does influence, for example, your mood. If you ask people, most people (81%) agree!
So why do we choose colour instantly?
How strange is it then, that we choose colours so easily? While we know that the right colours make us happier. Or show us the way or make our food taste better. Grey, brown and neutral is a hero for the living room, because it provides balance and tranquility. Yet you can give a kick to your interior with small additions. Have you ever thought of giving the door thickness a colour? Yes, that edge you don’t see when the door is closed. It just gives an ‘edgy’ accent when open. Despite many neutral tones, your interior really does not have to be ‘dull’.
Favorite in the bedroom
For many people, blue is the most popular colour. With men even slightly more than with women. Blue, the colour that represents freedom and space. And gladly this is also cherished in the bedroom. My tip: make the bedroom really dark and intimate. Choose a deep midnight blue or a dark ink blue. In these colours you can disappear and dream away!
