“In no time, the pieces of the puzzle fell into place.”
Six years ago, my eldest son was sitting at the kitchen table, sulking while doing his homework. He had to look up all sorts of things for his history class. What a waste, I thought, you’ll never use any of this again for the rest of your life. But how enjoyable could learning be if you actually applied what you learned? Right then, I knew exactly what I wanted to learn. I wanted to work with interiors, with homes, with the art of putting the pieces together. Alongside my job as a project manager, I began studying interior architecture and interior styling. Eventually, I reached a point where I asked myself: what am I actually doing here? Is this just going to remain some sort of glorified hobby? Who am I, really? What makes me unique, and why should people choose me? I was searching for my own personal blueprint.
Logical step
I wanted to grow, but how was I going to do that? I knew I had a story inside me, in my subconscious and I needed someone to help me bring it out.
I kept coming across Marie-Gon online. You can find business coaches everywhere, but how great is it to work with someone who is actually from within the industry? I don’t have to explain the interior design world to her; she has the knowledge, the experience, and the network, plus, she’s just a wonderful person. It felt like a logical step. I didn’t even look any further; it was simply meant to be.
“I am now telling the story of who I really am.”
While I had spent a long time searching for answers to my own questions, working with Marie-Gon meant that, within six months, all the puzzle pieces fell into place. It gave me a real energy boost; I wanted to keep the momentum going and truly establish my brand. It was a hectic time, my brain was working overtime, but in the end, we had something solid to show for it. A website, branding, a compelling story… we really pulled it off!
The first time I shared my ‘new’ story with a client, it still felt nerve-wracking. By now, I’ve developed 100 different ways of telling it, to the point where I don’t even have to think about it anymore. That’s because it’s my own, unique story about who I truly am: it’s about how I design from a deep passion for nature, so that you can enjoy all the beauty of the outdoors from within your own home.
A Silken Thread
Marie-Gon is fully engaged with life, and in doing so, she generates a wealth of positive energy. With her “helicopter view,” she hovers above your business, observing alongside you. What makes her truly unique is how she uses a delicate, silken thread to guide you toward where your own inner strength lies. There is a connection, yet she provides no ready-made answer, she simply steers you in the right direction. You discover your own strength for yourself.
Marie-Gon shows you just how unique you are. Thanks to her, my passions for nature and interior design have merged within my business in a way I could never have conceived on my own. The elements my clients love outdoors, the softness of green moss, the tranquility of swaying reeds, the atmosphere, the experience, the colors, and the textures, I bring them indoors. That sense of being embraced, I wish that for everyone.
